Leah Huebner having grown up in and studied acting in Birmingham, Alabama, just recently arrived in Los Angeles to make her mark as an actress. She was in numerous productions as an undergraduate including some her favorite roles where she played Janet in ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, Alex in ON THE VERGE, and Claire in PROOF. In the 9 months of her living in Los Angeles, she has worked as a model for her favorite clothing company, ModCloth and booked a commercial that flew her to Washington State. She currently studies with John Rosenfeld at John Rosenfeld Studios and is mentored by Melora Hardin, Jan from The Office.

Her charisma, energy and versatility led her to the lead role as Carly Sagat in the dark comedy IT'S NOT A DATE. She co-stars opposite talented newcomer, Mischa Pollack, who plays her tortured bad date; alongside Academy Award nominated actor Eric Roberts who plays her stumped father; and gets lascivious and misguided advise from her aunt played by Nina Hartley, who has put away her X-rated fame to display great acting chops in this  film. Leah displays the scary sex appeal of a young Glenn Close and her every moment on screen is riveting as she plays young nurse Carly Sagat, slipping down a rat-hole of her own making & going ever deeper as she tries to work her way out.
