Eliza Roberts plays Laurie Sagat, the oft-times hysterical and hysterically funny manic mother and spouse, opposite her real life husband Eric Roberts, in the dark comedy IT'S NOT A DATE. She comes from great literary genes. Her parents are award winning writers for screen and television, David Rayfiel and Lila Garrett. She began her acting career in John Landis' Animal House and continues to act and produce while fostering the careers of her phenomenally talented husband Eric Roberts; her step-daughter, upcoming screen star Emma Roberts; and her musician son Keaton.
