Alison Korman has performed in many NYC venues including Ensemble Studio Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, The Actor's Playhouse, The Kitchen, and La Mama, as well as at The International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Since relocating to Los Angeles, she co-founded the Pasadena City Players producing musical theatre for the children of Pasadena, and serves as a theatre teaching artist for The Shakespearites, a program enhancing the literacy of ESL elementary school students in South Central through the study and performance of Shakespearean classics.  Recent film, TV, and web series work includes appearances for the Upright Citizens' Brigade as well as on Bravo and Comedy Central. She plays Ruth, a mah jongg buddy needling a mother rattled by her daughter's mis-adventures, in the black comedy IT'S NOT A DATE.
